Writing a Poem
is like falling down
a rabbit hole.
The more I write,
the deeper I fall
into my pain.
I face my trauma,
and it becomes
so much easier
to let go.
Hundreds of miles
into myself,
I no longer
close my eyes,
because I see
my core
and I am ready
for me.

Raymond uses his writings as a voice for the voiceless, calling out injustices of Black Lives, and victims of domestic violence.
